Another step forward
Trans-Sped's developments, as part of its long-term strategy, point in the same direction. Whether it's a self-developed company management software, a behavioral analysis program that optimizes the drivers' fuel consumption with the help of artificial intelligence, or the just introduced ZERO service, the common denominator of all of them is that they reduce the ecological footprint of logistics.
“Trans-Sped ZERO delivery ensures a more environmentally friendly delivery of goods. As part of the service, the goods are delivered by Trans-Sped's own fleet, with the regularization of lockable, reusable crates, completely free of packaging material. Customers collect the ordered products from the courier with the help of a crate, and after unloading it, the crate is returned to the system, thus eliminating the problem of accumulated garbage in the end user's home. In addition to the environmental protection aspects, it is important to emphasize that we also provide overall cost reduction to online stores by not having to use hundreds of forints worth of packaging and space-filling materials per package. At Trans-Sped we are dedicated to green e-commerce, our next step will be the introduction of zero emission vehicles in the coming years” – said Szabolcs Fülöp, Managing Director at Trans-Sped.
Trans-Sped does not offer one-size-fits-all services, but provides professional logistics solutions tailored to the unique needs of their customers. The technological background of e-commerce logistics is provided by Webshippy's innovative software, which is complemented by Trans-Sped's more than three decades of experience in the field of logistics. The services can also be improved by developing innovative solutions based on ideas that came up during cooperation with the customers. Over the course of a joint project between Fressnapf Hungary and Trans-Sped, the question arose of how to make serving online customers even more convenient, faster and simpler, all in an environmentally friendly way as far as possible.
Fressnapf customers were the first to experience the new delivery option: orders placed in the Fressnapf webshop with a delivery address in Budapest are delivered without a cardboard box or extra packaging material, and the service will soon be launched in other areas of Pest County. “At the beginning of our cooperation, the most important thing was to launch the delivery service, then step by step we started to optimize and develop our processes. At Fressnapf, we believe that protecting our environment is a shared responsibility of all of us. That is why we started our packaging-free delivery in Budapest together with Trans-Sped Kft., in order to reduce our ecological footprint. We are proud that Fressnapf Hungary is the first company selling pet food and equipment in Hungary, which, taking into account environmental aspects, provides its customers with packaging-free delivery” – said Dániel Kisgergely, Managing Director at Fressnapf-Hungária Kft.
Fulfillment, tailored to the unique needs of our partners
For large e-commerce companies, the ideal solution is to deliver the goods after 1-2 steps from the manufacturer to fulfillment centers that can serve several online stores at the same time. Trans-Sped's warehouse base in Nagytarcsa was created specifically for this purpose. Through it, the product reaches the consumer directly, shortening the supply chain. The warehouse base is suitable for warehouse logistics services for companies operating in the manufacturing and processing industry, and is a solution for e-retailers with a turnover of over 3,000 packages/month. The opening was preceded by a warehouse technology investment of around 450,000 euros, which laid the foundation for the highest level of services.
The success of Fressnapf is a good example of utilizing the potential of fulfillment services. In the course of a few months, the company, which previously only dealt with offline sales, created a new sales channel and entered the e-commerce market with the joint logistics cooperation of Webshippy and Trans-Sped. The area has achieved extremely dynamic growth, thousands of assembled packages are delivered to Fressnapf's customers every month from Trans-Sped's warehouse in Nagytarcsa, where the significantly different size and weight of the products, as well as the sudden increase in traffic, do not cause any problems. After the initial steps of the cooperation, as a result of joint thinking, it was possible to further develop the delivery process by creating and introducing the ZERO service.
